Developing The Expeditionary Mindset takes the audience on a journey to high peaks and medical missions around the globe, detailing the exciting endeavors of mountaineer and adventurer Jeff Evans and providing meaningful lessons of teamwork, servant leadership, communication and handling adversity. These experiences highlight the importance of adopting an expeditionary mindset necessary to succeed both professionally and personally in our current VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world, which often involves the ability to successfully evaluate and adjust the ever-changing route up the mountain, the tools in your pack and the trajectory of the team.

Step up to Accountability helps individuals identify behaviors that both break down and build accountability. They will learn how to examine their own actions as leaders, as well as the actions of employees in the organization. Participants will discover how taking ownership of their environment is the key to increasing morale and productivity. Rather than tolerating negative behaviors or poor performance, they will learn how to manage what happens in their organization so they can create an engaging culture that gets results.
 Attendees will learn:

  • What it looks like to take ownership of issues facing the organization
  • Why leaders need to be co-creators of culture rather than passive recipients of culture 
  • How to deal with toxic or disengaged people and hold them accountable for their behaviors
  • How to focus on solving problems instead of blaming others for mistakes or failure

 This session will focus on the 3 pillars of sales management:

  2. Behaviors
  3. Skills

Every manager needs to learn and understand the daily, weekly, and monthly activities that are required to be successful.  After attending, you will learn the best-practices of the most successful sales managers in the industry today.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - KPI's

Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Almost every company owner says that they would like to get out of the day to day working in their business and start working on their business.  To get to that level, you will need to first understand the financials of your business.  These financials can be summarized as your KPIs.  A Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that demonstrate how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives.  This session will walk you through all the KPIs your business must monitor to grow and remain profitable.  When we can identify certain metrics for various parts of our business, they can inform us as leaders how that function is performing and whether it needs improvement.  KPIs that we will be discussing will include

  1. Marketing – Lead cost, marketing source, total cost per lead, and others
  2. Sales – NSLI (net sales over lead issued), RPA (revenue per appointment), Measure call to Presentation, Presentation to Contract, and others
  3. Financial – Revenue per day, revenue per crew/day, Gross Margin per crew, product line, division, Cash balances, contribution margin, plus others
  4. Production – budget versus actual, customer experience metrics, others

This session will help you benchmark your performance against your peers from around the country.  You will come away with an understanding on how to create a dashboard for your company.
